The Importance of Arts in The Classroom and Arts Programming
Autumn de Forest, World-Renowned Prodigy Artist and Ambassador for the President’s Council on The Arts & Humanities, will be holding workshops for Las Vegas Valley students. These future workshops will be held at Las Vegas’ premier fine art gallery, The Gallery of Music & Art at Caesars Forum Shops Terrace Level 3
This workshop, open to all kids in the Las Vegas Valley, is how this extraordinary young artist gives back to the community and represents her advocacy to maintain funding for both the National Endowment for the Arts and the importance of arts education in our schools and communities.
As the youngest artist ever appointed to The President's Committee on The Arts and Humanities, Autumn visits underserved and under resourced schools across the country between her busy exhibition schedule.
In an effort to empower young artists and share her passion for creativity, Autumn has developed a unique painting program, in which each participant creates their own self-portrait painting utilizing Autumn's innovative approach. After this fun, engaging activity is completed, every student is free to keep their very own painting on canvas.
