The Gallery of Music & Art - Jimi Hendrix

Jimi Hendrix was an eminent American musician, singer, and songwriter. Jimi is widely regarded as one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of popular music, and one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century. As a child Jimi often colored, but after buying a guitar, visual arts took a back-seat in his daily routine. It wasn’t until Jimi became a rock star that he rekindled his interest in drawing and painting.

He created his drawings by hand using colored markers. Jimi's aperiodic tessellation is the repetition of unique soulful patterns or dissimilar shapes without any spacing. His abstraction of the reality, that he could see music in color, is imagery that reveals an astonishing personal perspective that most people never even knew existed. Jimi’s expression, by a master artist who was able to create a voice for his generation and masterworks of fine art. The Gallery of Music & Art is pleased to present the art of Jimi Hendrix in traditional serigraphy technique.

The Gallery of Music & Art - Jota Leal

Jota Leal is perhaps the most prominent Surrealist Portrait Painters of his generation and his works are highly valued internationally by collectors, for his intense, psychologically charged works. As each painting progresses the artist learns more of the identity and personality of the sitter. Jota's research deepens, correspondingly so does the and enigmatic quality of the personality on the canvas, gesturally, each brushstroke elicits a bit of truth in the mosaic of life. The Gallery of Music & Art is looking forward to exhibit his latest original creations which are tribute to famous musicians such as Prince and Jimi Hendrix.

The Gallery of Music & Art - P.D.Williams

P. D. Williams’ Silk Art Creations spring from African aesthetics with their emotional intensity, pulsing dissonant color tones and figural distortion. The artist has developed transcendent symbolic imagery to tell rhythmic storylines in his work created with rows of hand-laid blended silk threads. Each section of color is a single thread laid by hand in a spiral, a change in direction, elicits facets and jeweled patterns. His juxtaposed color has metrical cadence not unlike music, these contrasting currents of color enhance the emotive mood of each vivid image. There is no stitching or weaving involved; every work is done entirely by hand, making each an original work. The Gallery of Music & Art will exhibit several unique silk art creations at Red Dot Miami, 2016.

Each work is several layers deep as individual edited planes are spaced apart forming the final image, bestowing the portraits with a mesmerizing depth and dimensionality.
