For forty years Black History Month has been evolving into a monthlong celebration, as a reminder to the world, of the work of visionary black Americans. One such area of cultural contribution is the courageous creation of distinctly new forms of music. The Gallery of Music & Art and our diverse team of artists celebrate these giants in portraiture, sculpture and the creative arts, for their contributions to human history.

February serves as a time to educate ourselves on the invaluable contributions of these iconic trailblazers who's music and example touch a global audience with their boundless imagination. This year, Black History Month, is meant to celebrate the spirit of inclusion: Music and Art have a unique and powerful way of bringing people together.

GMA is a positive and welcoming gallery environment for people to enjoy and collect art that engages across a diverse creative community with expressions of freedom through music as art.
